Caring for Lilies

As each lily opens, gently pull off the orange anthers with a tissue to prevent pollen stains on petals, clothes and tablecloths. Keep the water fresh, trim the stems every few days and remove spent blooms so the buds have room to open. Lilies are toxic to cats, so keep them out of reach of pets.
