Our story
Our story starts in a family flower business. For more than three decades, our mother has been arranging flowers for birthdays, weddings, fiestas and every kind of celebration in between. Her daughter grew up beside her, sorting stems, wrapping bouquets and learning how a few flowers and the right words can change someone’s whole day. She was five years old when she started helping.
Later, she built and ran a nationwide flower delivery business, leading its operations and marketing for four years. Running deliveries across the country taught her what customers actually worry about: Will it arrive on time? Will it look like the photo? Will someone answer when I message? In 2023 she stepped away to focus on her family.
In 2026, mother and daughter came back together to start Bloomhouse Co., and flowers&gifts is its everyday gifting shop. Her mother runs our day-to-day operations, and her daughter leads the business and the shop you are browsing now.
Meet our founder
Our founder. A florist’s daughter and a florist herself, our founder has spent her life around flowers, from her mother’s work table to building a nationwide delivery business. She writes many of the guides on this site, from what each flower means to how to make a bouquet last longer, based on what families have asked us for years.
Why we started flowers&gifts
